Visited around noon on a Saturday just before the lunch rush. Food was on point, they kind of skimped on the veggies understandably so as it is winter lol but I did have to request for extra basil and green onions. No complaints tho! This place is a solid spot.

My favorite dish is veggie fried rice! it's very good with great flavor! My husband gets Pho! that's mosts favorite! Pork skewers are a favorite as well. Service is pretty quick. This location can get busy at lunch time. The ambiance needs some help, not a fan of the red walls and dirty windows. Thinking they could brighten the walls, get rid of the screen the tv and the music is disturbing and to loud. Needs to turn the heat one or get a costco fireplace to warm it up!

Was looking for a place to get lunch after I had stopped off at a local store and this showed up on yelp. The recommendations were spot on, the Bun Bo Hue was fantastic. One of the best I've ever had. Don't know if when I will ever be back in this area, but I am parking this place in case I am

Traditional Spring Rolls: Loved how darker, leafy lettuce was incorporated and tucked neatly with vermicelli rice noodles and sliced shrimp. Enjoyed crunchy peanut toppings that accompanied peanut sauce. Wished the peanut sauce wasn't cold. Bun Bo: Multitude of flavors - savory, spicy, tangy with variety of ingredients offered from beef shank, pork hocks, pork cakes, blood curd, onions, hung que, and veggies. Loved the broth! Server was very courteous and helpful regarding questions with the menu. Same server also stopped by to provide water refills and asked us if there's anything else that we needed. Well lit ambience. Free parking and WiFi.

I wasn't expecting much from this little restaurant that's situated in an obscure corner of an obscure shopping center. It looks like how you would stereotypically imagine a Vietnamese restaurant to look. Service is fast and friendly. I told them no onions and they served me no onions. I came in twice in one week, I had the Bun Bo Hue on the first night. I tasted the broth and immediately demanded to know who made the broth. Yes, it's that good. There's a fine balance that you have to walk when making this broth, too little lemongrass and the broth is boring....too much lemongrass and you have a bitter broth. I had the pho today and made the mistake of ordering the large....no it was a VERY pleasant mistake. I've had large and x-large pho all over the country and they're never really large. This one was actually large and filled to the brim with meat. What sets this place apart for me is the quantity and quality of the meat. There's enough of it so that you don't need to pace yourself.

After shopping at Alderwood mall on a rainy Saturday afternoon, I looked up a few pho spots within the area and came across Pho 36. I was a little hesitant to give the place a try at first as I have a favorite pho spot further south (on my way home) but am so happy I gave this place a chance. The place had a few tables, and the workers seemed quite busy but I was greeted warmly and seated quickly. The place was noticeably clean too. I ordered the vegetable and fried tofu pho with beef broth and a side of egg rolls. To my delight, they gave me 4 eggs for $8. The broth was some of the best savory broth I've ever had and there was an assortment of vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, mushrooms, carrots, green onion) unlike other places that only give you carrots and broccoli. The pho was reasonably priced for the area at $13.50. This place has 5 stars in my book and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again and try their other dishes.
